If I lock my taskbar, and my taskbar is default height, the first icon in the Quick Launch folder shows on the taskbar. If the taskbar height is doubled, the first two items in that folder are revealed on the taskbar. If I unlock the taskbar, the icons are properly hidden until the Quick Launch button is clicked.

No idea if that will work but Or it will still be there possibly if right click empty spot on the Taskbar then from the menu Toolbars. Reboot after.
